The Short Version

RepairIQ does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Your files, scan results, and system information never leave your computer.

What RepairIQ Does NOT Do

Does not upload your files or file names to any server
Does not track your browsing history
Does not record your keystrokes
Does not send your scan results anywhere
Does not require an account to use
Does not use cookies or tracking pixels inside the app
Does not sell or share any data with third parties

What RepairIQ Does

RepairIQ scans your local file system to analyze storage usage. All scanning, analysis, and recommendations happen entirely on your device. Results are stored locally and are never transmitted.

License Activation

When you purchase and activate a Pro license, the following is sent to our licensing server:

Your license key
A device fingerprint (a hash of non-identifying hardware characteristics)

This is used solely to enforce device limits and validate your license. No personal files, file names, or scan results are included.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment transactions: stripe.com/privacy

Analytics

RepairIQ collects anonymous, aggregate usage counts (installs, scans performed, features used). No personal information, file names, paths, or identifiable data is included. You can opt out in Settings.

Data Storage

All app data (vault items, health history, settings) is stored locally on your computer in your user data directory. Uninstalling RepairIQ removes all local data.

Children's Privacy

RepairIQ does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
